Sennheiser Communications is looking for a Senior Hardware Engineer to join our Hardware Engineering Department at our headquarters in Ballerup. As a company, we are a dynamically growing engineering hub where some of the best gaming and professional headsets are developed.
Hardware Solutions for Premium Wireless Audio Products
Our Hardware Development team develops wired and wireless (Bluetooth and DECT) hardware and electronics with best in class performance for our premium audio products. We work in cross-functional project teams with SW, DSP, Acoustics, Mechanical and Manufacturing engineers. In your daily work you will therefore always have many technical interfaces and enhance your engineering skills and knowledge.
In your role, you will be involved in all project phases of product development and contribute during early scoping, planning and execution stages. You will take the lead from the HW perspective in the projects assigned to you. You will develop hardware, oversee the conceptual development, do detailed planning and coordinate the specific HW development activities within the project. You will ensure that we execute and provide all HW deliverables - not only in time but in the quality, which our products are renowned for. You will both work hands-on and coordinate the activities of some of your HW colleagues to a certain extend.
Strong Electronics Expertise with Planning and Coordination Skills
For this position we are looking for a person with a solid technical foundation in electronics and hardware design. Ideally, you are experienced in planning and coordinating hardware development activities in a project setup – or you would like to learn this.
More specifically, we are looking for someone with the following key technical skills and experiences:
- 5+ years of experience in audio/analogue/wireless electronics development
- Wireless & wired systems knowledge (DECT, Bluetooth, USB)
- Low power electronics
- ESD and EMC experience
- Hardware design and verification methodology
- Hardware/Software integration
- Relevant degree in electronics engineering, preferably on MSc level
