Expertise in developing acoustic production test and measurement systems
We are an energetic team that is continuously improving current acoustic and electronic test solutions while innovating new ones. As Production Test Engineer, you will design and develop production test solutions for a multitude of new product introduction projects. This includes developing and specifying test plans, collaborating in the design of test fixtures, creating an optimized test sequence program, validating test sequence performances, and documenting and improving our current test technologies. In short, your responsibilities include:
- Learn the functions of all production test hardware and software used for our products
- Optimize test platform tools with focus on structure and cross project reusability
- Know about our products and measurements performed during manufacturing
- Assist colleagues and manufacturing in Asia
- Plan, program, execute & optimize test sequences (LabView, SoundCheck)
- Operate and maintain our acoustic test equipment and processes
- Further develop uncertainty budgets for current test systems
- Interact with other engineering groups to define or interpret test strategies
- Serve as test engineer to independently develop the test methodology and test software, and implement these test solutions in-house
You will be one of our test process experts and work closely together with all our engineering disciplines: audio, mechanical, and software engineering, DSP, manufacturing and project management. Together, you are ensuring best in class products.
Structured testing for reliable premium audio products
As a member of our team you will experience strong professional growth since you will develop to being the individual expert on test development process for all Sennheiser Communications products. To succeed in this role, you should bring a relevant educational background and 2-5 years of experience working with electronic production test design. Programming skills and high knowledge of electronic circuits. SQL Database knowledge is a plus.
You strive to work on premium quality audio products and are geared to deliver high-quality results using your knowledge in programming, in handling test equipment and test methods. In the past, you have shown to work structured with a logical operational approach and enjoy taking ownership of tasks assigned to you. Since you will have a broad interface into our international organization, fluency in English is a must.
