As an Examiner you would mark set units of your chosen subject throughout the examination series. This is typically between May and July (dependant on when the examination is sat). Marking is usually on-going for approximately four weeks.
Assessing with OCR is an excellent form of CPD. It will help to develop a greater understanding of how the assessments work, which in turn will help you to prepare your students more effectively.
We offer full new assessor training as part of the assessor support package, for most subjects this is completed online. You would also be standardised prior to live marking.
Fees are paid per paper marked, these differ dependent upon the specific unit and level.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a good level of knowledge within the subject that they wish to apply for. Applicants must also evidence knowledge of assessment within a relevant subject area and level.

Please ensure you give full details of your experience in relation to the units you would like to mark and provide your HMRC details if you are a UK resident.
If your application is approved, it will be passed to our Panel Management Team who will contact you as an opportunity arises. Please note that we are unable to guarantee marking as the number of scripts available depends on the number of candidate entries for each series.
All applicants will be subject to right to work checks.
