In a context of very high business development (sales doubled in the last 3 years, and entry in 2018 in the top 10 cosmetic market shares in Italy), Yves Rocher Italy is pursuing a very ambitious digital transformation plan, in order to keep taking benefits from its unique business model on the whole local cosmetic market.
Digital is not anymore for YR Italy a single strategic axe, it’s integrated in each single strategic project of the organization and in its culture, transforming the traditional direct selling distribution model in a booming and modern social selling one, probably one of the most dynamic way to sell cosmetics in the current period (as proven observing some major retail competitors studying/experimenting social selling, or recent past years new cosmetic success stories launched in the US 100% through social selling…).
The brand Yves Rocher identified it as a priority, focusing skills and major investments to develop it on existing markets, and replicating the model on new ones.
In this context, YR Italy wants to create a senior position of Digital & UX Director, in order to accelerate the digital roadmap and increase even more its level of innovation and ambition.
The digital & UX director, on top of leading major innovations, will have a significant business role & impact, and will be fully part of the whole strategic plan construction.
The Digital & UX Director is a member of the board of administration of Yves Rocher Italy (7 people), hierarchically managed by the General Manager of the subsidiary.
He will manage directly the digital team, composed of an experimented digital manager (4 years within the company), a web project manager, and a digital assistant.
Moreover, he will closely collaborate with internal suppliers (local IT teams, central IT and digital teams), external suppliers (from the US, France, Portugal & Italy), and will have the whole Italian organization (from headquarters teams to sales teams all over the country) as main internal customers.
