We are looking for Senior Operations Technician to join our Neste Singapore Refinery Operations team in Singapore.

It is great time to join us!
You will report to the Shift Supervisor, responsible for the operations of the Singapore Neste Renewable Diesel refining plant i.e. pre-treatment, reactions, amine, tank farm and utilities areas. Your main target is to fulfill the planned production in the oil refinery.
In your role, you will
Maintain smooth and safe operations in the plant
Monitor process and safety and report non-conformities
Monitor possible emissions to atmosphere, ground or waste water and implement preventive actions
Monitor the condition of process equipment and facilities to maintain high availability of equipment
Manage work permits and assist work processes i.e. LOTO, PTW, PSSR etc.
Participate, initiate and generate risk assessments for hazardous tasks
Generate shift reports e.g. JAWA
Responsible for training new or junior technician in terms of skills and knowledge
Participate actively in all projects concerning Plant Modifications or Improvement
Participate in the Emergency Response Team
Maintain good housekeeping of the operating areas
You will work closely with various internal stakeholders in Singapore and other Neste sites and also external stakeholders including vendors to facilitate their supports to ensure safe & reliable operations.

Keys to success in this pioneering role
The best combination of experiences, skills and background is
Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline with more than 10 years' experience in petrochemical or oil refinery industry, of which 10 years in the field and 5 years in the control room
Experience in automation systems, process control and logics eg. DCS operations
Continuous improvement mindset and with sense of urgency
Ability to perform shift work in a noisy, hot environment and work at height
We also value
Good communication and coordination skills and the ability to work in cross-functional, multiple disciplines environment.
Team player with good communication skills and positive attitude towards safety issues
