We are now looking for a Market Intelligence Manager to join us to cover a maternity leave. This position sits in our Market Intelligence team and will focus on institutional and commercial customer and market insights.
This core remit of this position will be:
- To deliver timely, accurate and actionable market and customer intelligence to the EMEA sales and management teams with the overall objective of generating new and incremental business as well as supporting strategic business decisions.
- To effectively manage the UK based Market Research Analyst and all associated content usage reporting, market and customer research and analysis as well as leads generation responsibilities.
- To manage, promote and execute collaboration activities by identifying and facilitating synergistic sales opportunities across the commercial Springer Nature organisation.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent research and analysis skills with a love of drawing insights from data. They should have excellent experience of reporting, market research and leads generation, preferably gained in an STM publishing environment.
They should come with strong communication, organisational and project management abilities and will have advanced MS Office (especially Excel + PowerPoint) and numeracy skills. Familiarity of BI tools such as SAP Lumira or Tableau would be advantageous.
This is a London based role and will be appointed as a fixed term contract / secondment
