Scientific Reports Manuscript and Publishing Assistant Talent Pool 2017
Scientific Reports is an open access, online-only, primary research journal from the publishers of Nature, covering all areas of the natural and clinical sciences.
Springer Nature is an exciting place to work and our Manuscript and Publishing Assistant Talent Pool is designed for those looking to break into the challenging world of research publishing.
We are regularly looking for talented proactive candidates to join the fast-paced environment of the open-access journal Scientific Reports in two types of role: Manuscript Assistant and Publishing Assistant.
Both roles involve daily communication with the scientific community, and require a commitment to gold-standard service to authors, Editorial Board Members, peer reviewers and readers. Ideal candidates will be detail-orientated with excellent literary, interpersonal, time-management and prioritisation skills.
All candidates must have an undergraduate degree (a degree in the natural sciences is required for the Publishing Assistant role).
The roles would be full time and London based.
These roles offer a fantastic introduction to editorial and publishing processes for those with an interest in scientific publishing and eager to pursue a career in this exciting industry.
More information about these roles can be found on the Naturejobs blog:
