As Senior Contractor for Telephony Solutions Engineering, you will define, architect and implement enterprise voice communication and meeting solutions. You will provide your technical project management skills to support mid- and larger sized Telephony Solution objectives. Finally you will pro-actively identify and resolve potential client-impacting issues in the Telephony Solution production environment.
You will be technically responsible for integrating numerous sites into the corporate Amadeus IP Telephony infrastructure by designing and building of a new IP Telephony Infrastructure including phone on the deck.
You will also arrange for implementation by on-boarding of new phones into the Amadeus IPT Call Managers and reconfiguration or replacement of local analogue devices. You will take responsibility for the configuration of the Amadeus standard dial plan and the site configuration in our provisioning tool. Furthermore you will address the configuration of special services such as manager-assistant call feature, attendant console, Contact Center integration, etc. You will take responsibility for
Number porting, User Acceptance Test and related troubleshooting.
Finally, you drive the sign-off for operational readiness of the solution.
You will develop and optimize the Telephony services and solutions on a global level by serving as a technical interface to internal and external customers, ensuring system integrity and security needs are followed and maintained in all designs and operations, providing technical leadership and being an active member of the team as it performs level-3 incident response duties
Finally, you will work cross-organization to integrate and deliver new services
You will be surrounded by a great Real Time Collaborations team consisting of local and global members and more specifically project managers supporting you, as well as global implementation engineers, and regional infrastructure and operations teams.
Our ideal candidate
Ideally you have a Bachelor’s degree /Masters in computer science or associated field.
You have proven experience in Telephony solutions with Cisco UC portfolio, 5 years min. including both design, build, test, deployment and troubleshooting. Cisco certification, vast experience with Microsoft Active Directory and experience with security and networking design concepts a plus
You have experience managing and implementing projects, and conducting technical documentation
