We deal with support and custom solutions against our core products to allow them to cater to the specific needs of our customers. Our team primarily handles back-end process requirements around data and APIs: custom reporting, data extraction, data integration with third-party applications, performance tuning. We are also involved in providing technical consultation and training around our data and API products and services.
Primary technologies used:
SQL Server T-SQL querying, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), C# (.NET), REST JSON APIs, SOAP XML APIs, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Primary skills required:
* Initiative and flexibility in learning and using different technologies (including but not necessarily limited to the ones mentioned) to suit specific needs of a project or client request
* High level of initiative and independence to drive individual projects for specific clients, yet willing to collaborate with others on larger ones around architecture and approach
* Willingness and ability to effectively work directly with clients and counterparts (international and local). The following are desired traits related to this:
> Willingness and ability to wear multiple hats as needed (i.e. technical, functional, project management)
> Flexibility in participating in calls across timezones
> Willingness to travel as needed
